Ariel herbert, Artist, is a native to new haven, CT. She recently studied for fine arts at the Philadelphia academy of fine arts for the post baccalaureate and is anticipating completing her Masters in Science: Art Education at Pratt Institute located in Brooklyn, NY. Ariel’s artistic concentration remains primarily in printmaking, drawing with graphite, oil/acrylic paint, and art making with found materials/ scraps. She focuses on People of color in America and its histories, systematic oppression and social issues and self imagery.
